James Moodie

James Moodie, Painter, 246, Sauchiehall Street.—

The painting industries, to which the appearance of our fine streets owe so much, are thoroughly represented in the firm of James Moodie at the above location, where Mr. Moodie established his business twenty years ago. His premises consist of a shop tastefully fitted to display a large stock of paper-hangings, specimens of decorative work, &c., workshops beyond, and stores at 201, West Regent Street. The work for which Mr. Moodie has gained a large connection is painting, paper-hanging, and decorating in all branches. His trade extends all over Glasgow and its neighbourhood. The firm also undertakes contracts for ship painting, together with house painting. Punctuality, fidelity to instructions, and moderate charges, are the means by which this business has been developed to its present condition.
