    Our forwarding trade is of such importance that it deserves prominent mention. A thoroughly representative firm in this line is that of Messrs. Murray & Co., shipping and carting agents and contractors, 72 and 74, Port Dundas Road (telephone No. 180). Established under the present title twenty-one years ago, in the same locality, the business has been carried on for several years at the present address. The premises, which cover half an acre of ground, consist of yard, offices, and stabling.

    At present, Mr. William Murray, who is the sole proprietor, has thirty-five horses, with vans and lorries to suit. His trade, in which he employs forty men, is entirely local, and that energy by which he established his business, combined with his upright principles, continues to maintain and extend his connection.
