W. D. Robertson

W. D. Robertson, Tailor, Clothier, and Outfitter, 47, Hope Street.—

Mr. W. D. Robertson was for some nine or ten years a partner in the firm of Macsporran and Robertson, but about a year ago he commenced business on his own account at the above headquarters. He is doing an excellent trade, whilst his prospects are highly encouraging. His premises in Hope Street comprise two spacious flats, the lower or street flat is the sale and stock department, and the upper one the workshops, &c.

His stock is very superior as well as extensive, and embraces plain and fancy check ulsterings, fine soft finish tweed suitings, black, blue, and brown vicuna suitings, Melton, Venetian, and beaver overcoatings, Wyllie’s black, blue, and white serge, fancy vestings and trouserings, &c., all of the best qualities. All orders are executed with punctuality and despatch, and whether as regards style in cutting, correct fitting, or artistic workmanship, his establishment cannot be excelled. The business is conducted upon honourable and straightforward lines, and the reputation of the establishment is in all respects first class, whilst personally Mr. Robertson is highly popular.
