Donald Wright, Cash Provision Merchant, 44 and 46, Anderston Street, Partick ; 62, Hamilton Street, Govan ; 84, Cornwall Street, Plantation.—
The provision industries are thoroughly represented in and around the city by the firm of Donald Wright, who has been connected with the provision trade for many years. His premises all consist of handsome shops most tastefully fitted and arranged, exhibiting valuable stocks of groceries and provisions, including his famous ham, butter, cheese, meal, flour, bread, and potatoes, which are reputed to be the best and cheapest in the trade.
Among the secrets by which Mr. Wright has won renown is his having adopted the policy of buying and selling for cash, enabling him to sell at a fraction over cost prices. His frank manner and undeviating rectitude in all business transactions have also largely helped him to win the support of his large circle of customers.
