LADY PRIMROSE

    A DAUGHTER of Mr. Alexander Spence Wylie, of Glasgow, Lady Primrose was married 21st December, 1897. Both before and since her husband's elevation to the Lord Provostship and the honour of a baronetcy she has been noted for her deep interest in the charitable undertakings of Glasgow. She is a member of the Kelvin Club, and President of a division of the Soldiers' and Sailors' Help Society, and of several other well-known societies which exist for the amelioration of the condition of the people. And she was President of the great Samaritan Hospital Bazaar held in Glasgow in 1903, and, along with Lady Blythswood, took an active part in its organisation.
