HARRY ANDERSON WATT

    MR. WATT is a son of the late George Harry Watt, merchant, Glasgow, and Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of James Anderson, Duke Street. He was born in Glasgow in 1863, and was educated at Glasgow High School, Bellahouston Academy, and Glasgow University, where he took the degree of M.A. In those years he was known well in the West of Scotland as an athlete, having been for three years champion in hurdle racing, and winning altogether no fewer than 108 prizes. He is an English barrister, and a Justice of Peace for Argyllshire, where he owns the estate of Ardenslate at Hunter's Quay. His wife, Caroline Egerton, is a daughter of James Frackelton, of Mansfield, Dunmurry, County Antrim. He was returned in the Liberal interest for his present seat at the General Election of 1906.
